About Us

God’s word as stated in Matthew 28:18 – 20 commands us to “Go ye therefore and teach (paraphrase) the word of God. GSCLD is a Christian Leadership Development Program within the Christian Education Department of Maple Creek MBC.

The courses are certified by the Sunday School Publishing Board, NBC, USA, Inc. They are bible based and are designed to support the needs of church members and community residents who seek to expand their Christian learning and growth. Participating students will increase their knowledge and understanding of God’s word resulting in improved quality of living and decision making.

Mission Statement

The Greer School of Christian Learning and Development (GSCLD) seeks to train the minds; develop the Christian character; and enrich the spiritual lives of its students through quality bible classes. Its purpose is to glorify God by teaching a Biblical worldview of life in a Christ-centered environment.

We seek to advance 2 Corinthians 10:5 which says “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (NIV).

Maple Creek GSCLD seeks to build in the student a God-consciousness; and, to help him or her develop a consistent Christian philosophy of life by integrating personal decisions with Bible principles.
